Red, White & Black Gold — 5 Recipes for 4th of July

Independence Day is approaching. Whether you're grilling out tomorrow or all week long, we've rounded up some recipes around the interwebs that would be great with July's featured spice — Buffalo Bill's Black Gold

Aside from this dark blend looking really cool in your food, the activated charcoal has some interesting characteristics that make it great for grilling. It has an extremely silky texture that allows it to disperse into food and spread evenly. Because it doesn't clump, it's great for rubbing on meat — from marinating chicken wings to slathering on a steak.

Stay tuned for our pork butt recipe later this month, but in the meantime, here are a few recipes that would be great with Buffalo Bill's Black Gold. Just sub it for the spices in the recipes below!
