RECIPE R&D
Whether you need help developing recipes from scratch, making economical or flavor improvements to what you have or reverse-engineering a famous flavor, our team is more than capable of knocking your needs out of the park. Come to THE SPICE GUY if your goal is to co-create a product customers can't live without. We charge $150.00/hr for this service and blends typically take about 2 hours in total.
PACKAGING OPTIONS
We can fill a plethora of sizes but our manufacturing lines are set up to label round jars exclusively.
Most sizes are available in PET plastic as well as glass. The plastic is much more economical to purchase and ship.
PRICING
We get it, you want to know how much this is going to cost. Every customers blend is unique and therefore requires custom pricing. For you to be able ballpark what this might cost your brand, we have an example of a sweet and salty BBQ blend below.
Customers provide only their labels. We provide everything else. That includes; sourcing ingredients and packaging, blending, bottling, labeling, casing, and palletizing.
A sweet and salty BBQ blend with a net weight of 5.5 oz looks like this:
500 units = $4.26/unit
1000 units = $3.19/unit
2500 units = $2.56/unit
10,000 units and up = $2.13/unit
**Please bear in mind that your custom quote will vary from these projected costs based on the ingredients in your blend.
YOU'VE GOT QUESTIONS, WE HAVE ANSWERS
Our team will collaborate on initial orders of 500 units or more. Most companies in the space won't do it. We're the exception to the rule. Here's just a few more of the many reasons to reach out and see about how we can help.
Chefs across the country work with The Spice Guy to source bulk raw spices, herbs, custom spice blends + more. Our team ships and delivers any quantity of spice from 1 lb. to the pallet load from either our headquarters in Denver, Colorado or our Great Lakes manufacturing facility in Toledo, OH.
100% CUSTOM SPICE BLENDS
With the highest level of CONFIDENTIALITY, we can blend any amount from 5 pounds up to a truckload of your proprietary formulas. We will sign NDA's with you to ensure that your secret stays yours. Our team is capable of matching your current blends from any other spice company out there as well as running with an idea you have and creating some dope concepts.
SPICE SOURCING
We work directly with farmers and distributors all over the World. We purposely skip countries like China and Brazil because of modern day slave practice. We visit many of our farm partners and are in constant communication to ensure that we get nothing but the best from them. From simple spices (garlic, onion, oregano, paprika, etc.) to specialty (chiles, saffron, fine salts, tellicherry peppercorns, etc.) we have access and can source almost any ingredient for you. All products are processed in the USA to ensure quality control and purity. Look no further for straight from the source ingredients for your amazing products.
