Sesame Seed - Black & White
A beautiful blend of black & white Sesame Seeds.
White & black sesame seeds have been grown around the world for thousands of years, first making their debut out of Northern Africa. They ended up in the USA via slave trade in the 17th Century. Many people in the South still refer to these oily babies as "benne." Benne being the African word for sesame.
Sprinkle some of these in vegetable dishes like: asparagus, bok choy, broccoli, and eggplant. The seeds are a staple in Japanese and other Asian cuisine.
Try toasting these things and the flavor really comes to life.
