Blackened Salmon has a lot of mixed spices and the Maple Glaze adds a bit of sweet, together it brings MAGIC!
Blackened Salmon with a Maple Glaze
4 salmon filets
1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
2 Tbsp Blackened Red Fish Magic
1/2 cup maple syrup
3 Tbsp brown sugar
11/2 tbsp fresh lime juice
2 tsp minced garlic
1/8 tsp black pepper
Place ingredients into a small pot on the stove and bring to a boil while stirring regularly
*Be sure to keep an eye on it, as it will start to cook fast - be sure not to burn it and stir regularly!
Blackened Salmon Instructions
Brush salmon fillets on one side with melted butter and generously sprinkle on Blackened Red Fish Magic
Place the salmon into a large, heavy skillet over medium to high heat, butter side down, until blackened, 2 to 6 minutes.
While the one side is cooking, brush the other side with butter and sprinkle on seasonings
If pan starts looks dry, drizzle some of the extra butter onto the fillets while cooking.
Continue cooking until blackened and fish is easily flaked with a fork
Serve with Maple Glaze on top!
