These ribs bring the heat and the sweet. Rubbed down with our Frisco Rib Rub—a bold blend of brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic, chili, cumin, and a surprise twist of allspice and cinnamon—they come out fall-off-the-bone tender with a caramelized crust that’ll have you licking your fingers and wondering why you ever settled for plain BBQ. Sweet, smoky, a little spicy, and a whole lotta Frisco attitude.
Ingredients
-
2 racks pork baby back ribs (about 4–5 lbs total)
-
3–4 tablespoons Frisco Rib Rub
-
2 tablespoons yellow mustard or olive oil (for binding)
-
½ cup BBQ sauce (optional, for finishing)
Directions
Prep the ribs:
Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs for best texture. Pat ribs dry with paper towels.Season:
Rub each rack lightly with mustard or olive oil. Coat generously with Frisco Rib Rub, pressing it into the meat. For best flavor, cover and refrigerate for 1–12 hours.Bake low & slow:

Carefully unwrap ribs and discard juices. Brush with BBQ sauce if desired. Broil on high for 5–6 minutes or grill for a few minutes to caramelize the top.Serve:

Recipe Note
Frisco Rib Rub is the ultimate sweet-smoky-savory blend — with brown sugar, garlic, chili, molasses granules, smoked paprika, and a whisper of cinnamon and allspice for that little “what-is-that?!” magic. It’s BBQ with big personality.
