Imagine yourself roaming the streets of Sayulita, golf carts are whizzing by, live music is pouring out of every bar and restaurant patio, the street performers are doing their thing, the people are peddling their products and best of all - the street food vendors are vending.
Sayulita Street Tacos
If you haven't eaten tacos on the side of the street from a plastic table, a questionable looking salsa and the cutest old abuelita in the world dishing up the goods than you might not have actually gone to Mexico.
This blend offers up all of the flavors of Mexico in one convenient blend. We especially like this one for beef tacos, but you can always substitute any other protein of your choice!
1 1/2 lbs ground beef (lean)
8 corn tortillas
2 1/2 TBSP Sayulita Street Taco Spice
Sliced red onion
Sliced cherry tomatoes
In Skillet cook ground beef on medium-high with Sayulita Street Taco seasonings until meat is no longer pink. Set aside.
Warm tortilla shells in the oven on 300 degrees Fahrenheit for 7 minutes or in a skillet on medium-high heat for 30-45 seconds on each side.
Scoop ground beef mixture into the tortillas and add sliced onion, cherry tomatoes, shredded cheese, and cilantro.
Squeeze the fresh lime juice on top.
