These Breck Brisket Sliders are the stuff of backyard BBQ daydreams. With a flavor-packed rub of brown sugar, paprika, garlic, and onion powder, every bite is savory, sweet, and downright addictive. Whether you're feeding a hungry crew or hoarding leftovers for yourself (no judgment), this is the move.
Ingredients
-
3–4 lb beef brisket
-
2½ tbsp Breck Brisket Rub
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
1 cup beef broth
-
½ cup BBQ sauce (optional, for saucier sliders)
-
Slider buns
-
Optional toppings: pickles, slaw, cheese, crispy onions
Directions
Rub it down: Pat brisket dry and rub thoroughly with the Breck Brisket Rub. Let it sit at room temp for 20–30 minutes.
Sear (optional but tasty): In a hot skillet, sear the brisket in olive oil until browned on all sides.
Cook low + slow:
Slow Cooker: Add brisket and beef broth. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4–5.
Oven: Place in a Dutch oven or roasting pan with broth. Cover tightly with foil or a lid and roast at 300°F for 4–5 hours until fork tender.
Shred + sauce: Remove from heat, shred brisket, and mix in BBQ sauce if using.
Serve: Pile onto slider buns with toppings of your choice.
