12 oz spaghetti or linguine

3 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 teaspoons Sweet Heat

4 cloves fresh garlic, thinly sliced

½ cup grated parmesan (optional)

Juice of ½ lemon (optional)
Directions
Cook pasta:
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.Make the sauce:
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter with olive oil. Add sliced garlic and cook until golden and fragrant, about 2 minutes.Spice it up:
Sprinkle in the Sweet Heat Blend and stir for 30 seconds to bloom the spices.Toss the pasta:
Add drained pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat in the spicy garlic butter. Add reserved pasta water a splash at a time if it needs loosening.Finish it off:
Stir in parmesan, squeeze lemon juice if using, and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve hot.
